| Viki (43 Km from the town) is a small village at the northern part of Chios, that lies at the foothill of Pelinneon mountain. The whole area is covered with cherry-trees and olive groves. There are scattered post-Byzantine chapel close to the village. There is a beautiful beach with clear waters, nearby. Those small places, united by ancient traditions, one of which claims they have always been protected by ancient god Pelineos Zeus. |
